While camping, C was a mosquito snack! Despite all the bites, he didn't seemed bothered at all and was his usual self.

C got a time out for messing up his sister's sand castle...he wasn't very happy about it.

We went on a quick hike right away. Here discovered that this part of the park had some vicious mosquitos...C was almost lifted off the ground by a swarm of the beasts!

There were squirrels or flickertails everywhere, and they would come right up to you if you didn't try to scare them.

This was our campsite at Old Mill State Park. Unpacking and setting up the tent went very well. It only took us about thirty minutes to get completely set up.

After seeing "Ice Age 3", going to Cabela's, and then eating dinner, C had enough and fell asleep in Walmart (as usual).

After watching "Ice Age 3" we decided to go shopping at Cabela's. This is the large North American mammals display inside the store.

After the Christmas Carol Train Tour, we went to Huhot for dinner. M made me a special plate and had it cooked all by herself.

Today the Disney Christmas Carol Train Tour came to Fargo, so we made the trip to go and see it. Essentially, it was a big promotion for the upcoming movie. We waited in line for about an hour and got to go through the train that showed a "behind the scenes" tour on how they made the movie. We saw artist drawings, miniature models, costumes, and a photo morphing activity that put our own faces on to the characters from the movie. At the end, we got to see a preview of the movie. It may be a little too scary for very small children; O and C were frightened a bit during the trailer. Overall, an interesting time.

We heard that the Disney Christmas Carol Train Tour was in Fargo so we hopped in the Jeep and went for a drive. The kids are so peaceful when they're all asleep.

A new and critical life skill mastered! M, O, and C spent their time waiting for dinner learning how to hang spoons from their noses.

We went to the beach at Larimore for a picnic and swimming with PAK. It was a bit cold at times, so often the kids just played in the sand. However, we spent plenty of time in the water. Everyone had a great time, and some of us ended up buried in the sand! We even got to see the occasional KC-135 fly overhead.
